Day Ten.
Adjusting to life in the van quite nicely, admiring my handy-work along the way.
It feels nice spending time inside something that you're proud of, something that you made yourself.
Today has been a day still in adjustment mode though, trying to get to our main destination, whilst trying to enjoy the journey along the way - and not just miss everything like I normally do.
So, with trying to balance making up the km's with living, learning & growing things have been a little off kilter. I guess the only time you can have existential angst and be concentrating on things like your values is kind of when all your needs are met.
There's no use focusing on your values when you haven't got any food on the table if you know what I mean. So with that being said, much of the day has been spent on keeping things flowing, making ground, wrapping up the loose ends after moving property.
I've enjoyed the time at rest though. Lots of contemplation, working a few things out, getting ready for when all of the loose ends are tied up, and the km's are behind us to start really diving deep into all of this shit.
What I did good
What I did bad
Tasks for tomorrow, to be better than I was today:
I want to nut out all of the jobs and make up all of the km's so that we can get to our destination and change course, and start working on some cool shit.
So, that means nutting out the tax, finishing my kids homeschool application, and getting a new sim with heaps of data sorted.
Boom!
