How Do Beginner Blogs Actually Make Money?

So how do beginner blogs actually make money?

It’s a bloody good question, and I had no idea when I first started out.

I thought all bloggers were just geeks doing it out of the kindness of their heart.  Creating quality content for my pleasure.  I just couldn’t see how blogs actually make money

But you know what?

Good bloggers make a fu$#ing killing!

In fact, good bloggers have some of the best businesses in the world.

They have little to no overhead expenses, they’re free to travel 365 days a year, their profit margins are usually huge, hotxxx.cc and they have passive income streams coming from all angles. Check cherrycash.com/.

Blogging is epic, and can be very lucrative, you’ve just got to be committed and give it a bit of time.

In this post you’ll learn the quickest ways for privatlån norge beginner bloggers to start earning money.

Lets go.

AFFILIATE MARKETING

The first realistic target for most new blogs to make money is through affiliate marketing.  So what exactly is affiliate marketing?

“Affiliate marketing is a way to earn a commission by promoting other peoples products.  It’s such a great system.  All you need to do is find a product you use and like, and promote it to others to earn a reward for each sale that you make.” Check blue chip routinewealth.

Affiliate marketing is super quick to set up, and is very effective.

It’s not something that you’re going to get rich quick with overnight, that’s not how it works, but over time, as you create content and drive traffic to your blog, you’ll slowly start to see sales coming in.

Each piece of affiliate content that you write is in essence it’s very own passive income stream.

Over time as you build more and more of these small income streams they begin to act like tributaries in a river network. Each feeding into the main river, growing steadily over time. Check out how to do high acceptance payday loans direct lenders.

That’s the fundamental premise of Income Stacking right there.

Before you get too excited about making money on your blog with affiliate marketing, here’s a few pitfalls to avoid:

  • Realistically it takes about 6 months for Google to trust your blog, so be patient.
  • Don’t over use affiliate links within your posts (Google knows, and doesn’t like it).
  • Don’t recommend anything that your not proud of (having high integrity will pay off in the long run).
  • Try not to sound “Salesy” and just be honest.
  • Make sure you back up your affiliate marketing with facts, reviews, testimonials.  They’ll convert far better if you do.
  • Don’t forget to use a plugin like Thirsty Affiliates to cloak your ugly affiliate links as it’ll increase your sales.

Most importantly, just start.  And don’t let perfection get in the way of progress.

EMAIL MARKETING

Every blogs primary aim needs to be collecting emails.  Why?

Because 80% of the people that visit your blog, will NEVER come back!

All of that hard work creating content and 80% of your traffic will leave empty handed, never to return again. Check vpn arena nord.

That is why you need to make collecting emails a priority.

It’s very simple to set up too, here’s how it works:

  • Get yourself a good lead generation plugin (I use Thrive Leads)
  • Create an offer/bribe for your readers in exchange for their email address.
  • Get yourself registered with an email delivery service like Mail Chimp.
  • Set up an automated campaign to drip feed emails to your new subscribers and drive them back to your site.

At a very basic level, that’s it.

As you build up your email list you will be able to drive them back to your site whenever you have a new offer, or a new post with affiliate opportunities.  It’s the most guaranteed way to get traffic and sales there is.

As a beginner blogger that’s all you need to know right now, and as you develop your skills you can dive into conversion metrics, optimisation and buyer psychology.

But for now, just get your email marketing funnel in place.

ONLINE SHOP

Did you know that you can open a shop with no products?

Sounds pretty silly right, but it’s kind of true.

Let me explain.

It’s called ‘Drop Shipping”.

“Drop Shipping is a retail fulfilment method where a store doesn’t keep the products it sells in stock. Instead, when a store sells a product, it purchases the item from a third party and has it shipped directly to the customer. As a result, the merchant never sees or handles the product.

The biggest difference between Drop Shipping and the standard retail model is that the selling merchant doesn’t stock or own inventory. Instead, the merchant purchases inventory as needed from a third party – usually a wholesaler or manufacturer – to fulfil orders.”

Are you starting to see the power of Drop Shipping?

It’s pretty wild hey!  You can literally create a shop filled with hundreds of products in a few hours, and begin selling to the world.

Sure, you’ve got to work out a way to drive traffic to your shop products which will come with time, but once you’ve built up a steady stream of visitors to your blog, you’ll slowly start to get more and more eyeballs on your products and start generating sales.

SELLING THEIR SERVICES

If you can create content that helps people,  there’s a good chance they’re going to want your personal services too.

Let me explain.

Most people fit into one of a few categories.

They’re either:

  • Poor and time poor
  • Poor and time rich
  • Rich and time poor
  • Rich and time rich

Your free content is going to get devoured by the first bracket (financially poor) as they don’t have a tonne of cash.  That’s cool though, as you have affiliate marketing and low priced products to help these people.

However, those rich folk (god damn them) often don’t have the time or inclination to do the work themselves, they’ve got other shit going on.

So, they’d rather pay you to fix their problems than go through the effort of learning a whole new skill.

You’ll start to get consultancy work once you’re well positioned as an authority in your industry, and that’s where all of this blogging pays off.  As you build high quality content, and you engage and educate your audience, you will naturally build up authority over time.

In fact, blogging is probably the best (alongside YouTube) at positioning yourself as an authority in your industry.

CONCLUSION

Starting a blog is definitely not a quick way to success, but it is a very proven method, and can work incredibly well if you give it time, and you’re persistent.

Also, it’s a good way to transition out of your work because it’s something that you can do in your spare time to begin with.  We’ve all got to earn a living here, and that’s totally fine, but it’s important to have a pathway out.

And that’s exactly what building a blog will do.

If you’re sitting on the fence as to whether to start a blog or not, my advice would be start NOW.

Just do it!

You will learn a whole new bunch of skills, and you’ll actually be setting yourself free on a path to your Minimum Viable Life.

Peace out.

Rowan.
